Anushka Manoj is a 21-year-old, London-based singer/songwriter, intergrated in various aspects of the creative sector. Starting her music journey with guitar and later gaining experience in Indian Carnartic Music, she found her passion to write music that connects to listeners emotionally. Her aim is to allow people a form of escape/catharsis from life's challenges through the messages in her songs.

In Year 9, she played her now first single Next To Me, which garnered significant attention from the student body and solidified her drive for songwriting, She has now written about thirty songs with the goal to release them over the next few years and a debut EP coming out next year titled Universe On My Side.

Alongside music, she also overlaps different creative disciplines. She is a digital artist and story writer, having written songs based on her original characters and created visual artworks to accompany the vision in her mind.
Melodies That Shaped Me
My sound was initially inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes. Today I love genres like soft-pop and orchestral/cinematic pop and reflect this in most of the music I write.
